When my first born was very small, infant.

We started a family tradition of being home on the night of Christmas Eve to make sure the cookies were out for Santa, the carrots were out for the reindeer and we were all tucked away for his big arrival on Christmas Day.

An additional tradition we started was the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Box. I covered an large box in Christmas wrapping paper, so I could reuse it every year. Inside the box is the plate and cup for Santa’s cookies, a new Christmas book for us to read the on Christmas Eve as a family. We also all get new pajamas!!! Christmas pajamas of course. Some years they match, some years they are a little funny for Mr P and some years it’s a hodgepodge.
